Alvy urges Annie to take adult education classes. Hilarious and also a career best performance by Allen. They realize that perhaps the only thing worth fighting for, in the end is love. Slapstick at its finest mixed with Allen's usual fears and revelations.
This being a Woody Allen film, there is also a good deal of verbal humour, particularly one-liners along the lines of "I haven't seen my analyst in years. It comes out in spelling, and I had to work much harder in school.
